Water Sculpture Urban Art

This beautiful kinetic Water Sculpture has been created by a talented artist as urban art in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

We are all attracted to water in motion – it gives us a sense of serenity and well-being. From ancient times, people have built water features in homes and public places. I have seen and photographed several water sculptures while visiting Germany,  but this is one of my favorites. It was a nice gesture of the artist to create it and donate it to the municipality.

The dialog between light and shadow makes this piece of urban art standing out. I’m proud to say I won the first place in a photographic competition with the theme “Saturated or Parched” with this picture! 🙂

On the other hand, the Chinese art of Feng Shui, uses water in motion to attract  good energies and prosperity when placed in your home or office. I uploaded it to my Fine Art America gallery, and it’s available as art print in various formats. It can make a great water art symbol for the prosperity corner of your home.

I also photographed a detail of this fantastic water sculpture and digitally altered it. – I called it “Color explosion”

It can make a nice cheerful wall decor above your sofa.
