After Christmas fun

After Christmas fun is a humorous image I took in Southern Ontario. Somebody had a creative idea and hung a Santa’s costume from a roof gutter on their house. The scene is open to interpretations according to everyone’s imagination. You can think that Santa got stuck while trying to get down from the roof. You may also think that he never made it to the chimney… It is intriguing and puzzling, but I think quite humorous. That’s why it attracted my attention, and I got the shot 🙂

It is definitely an “After Christmas Fun” image. I also I made it as a selective coloring photo to emphasize Santa’s red costume against the dark monochrome wall 🙂 In my Fine Art America gallery you can see it as art print for wall and home decor. It can look like this as a poster above the counter:

The most appropriate way of using it though I think is as a greeting card. In fact, somebody had already this idea and bought it 🙂 Yes, I just sold a a copy of it! Click on it for more info:

I also sent it to some friends whom I forgot to greet for the New Year. I hope that this card put a smile on their faces 🙂 Now I can really declare the winter holidays closed and my tasks accomplished.
